Freshers’ Team

When you arrive at Northumbria, there will be loads of current students on hand to welcome you, help you move into your new home, give you directions and tell you all the best things to see and do. This lovely lot is NSU’s Freshers’ Team. You’ll recognise them from their bright t-shirts with our logo on them.

These students are volunteering their time to make sure YOU have the best Freshers’ Week ever, so if there is anything you need, from bus routes, to a local supermarket, or of course directions to the Union, they’re here to help!

Halls Info Stalls

We know the first week at uni is a bit of a whirlwind of new information, meeting new people and getting to know your new surroundings, so we’ve arranged information points in your halls of residence where you can find out about NSU and the Freshers’ Week programme. Our friendly staff will look after you.

Halls Inductions

For those students living in Sodexo accommodation, there’ll be an induction in Sports Central on Tuesday 24th September. More details coming soon about this.
